CHIVRON

The image Chivron was an artefact to emerge from the figure painting process I used with live models, except that this time there was no model....just my imagination.

Upon seeing the result, it opened my mind and heart to develop a series I would call meta figures. With my interests in religious icon paintings, I would try to develop a more modern, perhaps even futuristic model of our spirituality.

Chivron is a painting that acted as the bridge and the medium for me to cross over and delve beyond the physical limitations of my usual insight and open my awareness even further to the other senses I have been developing through the process of creating images.
